One of the greatest pleasures that comes with filmmaking is getting to meet and work with interesting people that you normally wouldn't want to... er, I mean, wouldn't ever meet.

The Lads, being such a small production company and all, rely heavily on volunteer actors and crew members to help us bring our dreams to life. Without their assistance, our productions would be an even more tremendous burden than it already is. Try being the camera-op, while getting sound levels from the boom mic and trying to remember your next line all at the same time and you'll get the picture.

Below is a list of friends who gave up a lot of their free time so we could bring you the films on this website. Much thanks and appreciation goes out to them, and if we ever hit it big one day, we'll be sure to take them out for taco night tuesday at the local pub! Hat's off to our friends!

Plague
(Web Tech, Critic, LAN-gamer)

Twin brother to the Grand Marquee, Plague has been an enormous contributor to the Lads by providing us free webspace on his server, as well as being a brutally honest critic in everything we do. Look to see him in one of our films soon, as he'll more than likely be the lead in the Brawny Lads first attempt at a musical. ;-)

If you are in need of a speedy, economical web space for your business or personal pleasure, we highly recommend his companys service. We have never had a problem with the site going down, lag, or hacker infiltration. They are experts in their field, and have rates that are typically lower than your own ISP. Check out their packages, and you'll see what we mean.

Julie
(Actress, PA, Loving wife)

Julie has helped the lads for quite a few years now, by acting in our films, such as Spiked Punch, running around town buying us lunch and, most importantly, by allowing her husband, The Grand Marquee, to play with the other Brawny Lads. She has been kind enough to help host private screening parties and delight us with her talanted piano playing. Perhaps in the future, you'll see her name on the credits as composer.

Jenny
(Actress, Makeup, Clapper)

Jenny is a recent addition to the Brawny Lads crew, by being Mr.Chipps girlfriend and a participant in our filmmaking endevors.

She lent her voice and makeup/wardrobe talants in the making of Roadkill as well as handling the clapper in Seeing Red. Her gifts at being a singer/songwriter should benifit our films in the future as we strive to give our films original musical scores.

Oleg
(Actor, Grip)

Oleg is not only one of our favorite actors, he's also a great comrade. He has stared as an evil terrorist in Spiked Punch, an evil torturer in the St. Pauly Girl commercial and as an evil Nazi in Seeing Red. We had hoped to avoid type casting him in our most recent project, but decided he would make an excellent evil manifestation in Roadkill. Deep down, he's really not that evil at all and probably sick of us abusing him the way we do.

Oleg has contributed as much off screen as on screen, during our productions. He's a fine critic and offers suggestions whenever he believes we're going in the wrong direction (which is all the time). He is a huge contributor to Brawny Lads success!

Anna
(Assistant Director, Paranormal Investigator)

Anna was kind enough to offer her assistance in filmming the 2005 48 Hour Film Project. We gave her the duty of Assistant Director and she pulled it off wonderfully. We've asked her to continue working with us on future projects and become part of our paranormal investigation team. She's proven to be a great resource for the Lads, as well as an eager and insiteful companion. If there were to be a Brawny Lass in the near future, I'm willing to bet it will be her.

Joey
(Actor, Brainstormer)

Joey has been a friend of Mr.Chipps and Crimbil for quite a few years. Since he has the same twisted ideas and sense of humor as most the Lads, he naturally became more involved with us and stared in our recent 48 Hour Film Project, Roadkill. I see Joey becoming an official Brawny Lad one day... if he's willing to pay the membership dues, that is. :)

Monte
(Actor, Drummer, Consumer of cheap beer)

A few of the Lads have 'jammed' with Monte in the past and, through a seemingly natural state of events, incorporated him into our filmmaking endevors. Him and his wife have been kind enough to allow access to their property to shoot films like, Seeing Red and both of the WWWAR films. He even dug us out the foxhole where the three American soldiers 'dug in' on Seeing Red. He made his debute appearence on Friendly Fire: OFF, in which he died in the first 10 seconds of the film. What a sport! We look forward to working with Monte in the future, if he's up for it!
